Besties with Testies is a non-profit organization started by two young men whose friend was diagnosed with Testicular Cancer.

"100% of total profits directly to help the cost of research, treatment, prevention, and other costs related to the burden of testicular cancer."

Recently, Besties with Testies announced their partnership with the Testicular Cancer Awareness Foundation in hope of spreading the word about this disease, urging men (young & old) to self-exam and notify their doctor of any changes or abnormalities.
Testicular Cancer is the most-common type of cancer in men ages 15-40. In March of 2010, my 22 year old son was diagnosed.

I have a family member who has quietly been fighting this, not enough said about it!
Thanks for your reply Tiffany!  And no, some men are embarrassed, my son included....it took him many months before admitting to his Dad that something was wrong.  When he got checked that day, he was immediately sent to a Urologist, who did surgery the next day.  We all had no idea that it's the most-common type of cancer in men ages 15-40!

I did not know that this was the most common type of cancer in men ages 15-40.  That is scary and yes, I must agree that there is not a whole lot of media coverage highlighting this.  The only time that I have heard this issue arise was when two high profile athletes were diagnosed and thankfully, conquered it.

I love the name and the squirrel logo, Besties with Testies.  It is catchy and I will look further into the organization as I have an 18 year old son with autism that doesn't understand self-checks, but alerts me as a mother to have this checked at his physical on Friday.

Thank you for sharing.
