A Mom Blog Social Network
I just have to ask... does anyone blog/write simply because they love to write? No expectations or desire for monetary gain?

Permalink Reply by Vanita on February 28, 2012 at 6:18pm I don't write to make money, but blogging is time consuming and ROI is nice.
Permalink Reply by Janene Krajci on February 29, 2012 at 5:04pm Right now I am...although I can't say that I wouldn't LOVE to get paid to do posts and make a little extra money. I still think that I would write posts just to write, too. I wish more people commented on my posts, though. I think it's the feedback and discussion that I really long for more than the money. I want to interact with people and hear their opinions, too!!!
Permalink Reply by Daneilia Pulido on March 1, 2012 at 8:35pm I write with no expectations to gain money. But if its offered its just a bonus to what I do. I love writing and I'm passionate about what I write. So what I do is worth blogging without the monetary side ;)

Permalink Reply by Heather K. on March 5, 2012 at 4:55pm I wrote my blog for a long time without even telling anybody that I had one simply because I love to write. I do have to admit though that I love the interaction that comes from my readers! ~Heather @ http://lovelybeautifulsmiles.blogspot.com
Permalink Reply by Tess on March 8, 2012 at 10:05pm Can I say "I do" and "I don't." :) I blog without expecting any monetary gain because I love it. It's a creative outlet for me and my way of reaching out to others. On the flip side, I work as a freelance writer - content totally unrelated to blogging for which I do get paid. I have to say, I'd pick blogging for the love of writing over getting paid. There's just something about writing in your own voice that really makes it fun.
Permalink Reply by Natalie Adair-Butler on March 10, 2012 at 3:02pm I blog cause it keeps me sane, my life is crazy busy and blogging helps me stay centered, get my feelings out, and now help other woman with my new forum(Woman to Woman).
I don't honestly know much about selling or reviewing things on my blog-do they really make enough money for all their efforts ? I just can't see how they can, there's so many of them!
Permalink Reply by Jackie Hennessey on March 10, 2012 at 4:03pm Great answer, Momtactics. Good for you, Tess and others! And Natalie - I love the sanity part of your response. But I believe that every blog serves a different purpose. Some may provide us with good deals while others just help us stay sane and connect with other moms. Lord knows we need all the help we can get!
Permalink Reply by Jessica Orris on March 12, 2012 at 10:25am Me. Yup I love to write. I feel a little loser-ish that I only have 10 followers but still I love to write. http://dearlittleorris.blogspot.com/
I write because I love too. There is something about writing that is almost theraputic. It's fun, its expressive, and interesting. I get bored reading news articles and whats trending now...social media and blog post are far more interesting and personal then any news article I ever read. I think we as individuals really have more to say and more of an imput and its good to get it out there! GOOD MORNING TO ALL HOPE YOU HAVE A BEAUTIFUL DAY!
