I write and blog for the sake of writing.  I don't do give-aways etc. on my site... not that it is bad to have those, but it just doesn't fit into why I started the blog.  I started my blog as an outlet to get thoughts out and connect.  It has been a great experience and has actually lead to opportunities outside of my blog.

I do.  I don't even know HOW to do it for money.  I wanted to write/blog to get my true feelings out there and really share what was on my mind!  Sometimes I feel censored on other social sites and blogging is YOUR page...YOUR thoughts.  It's a freedom to share everything packed into a mom's brain (which can be scary sometimes!)

Yes. I'm a writer by trade, and am not itnerested in making money, giveaway etc on my blog. It has gotten me writing regularly, as I post once a week a "tale" but one I revise all week, as I would any of my published works. I do not post anything off the cuff. I save that for journals.:))

I write because it's cheaper than therapy, no hangover, it's legal, and it doesn't matter if Medicare Part D covers it or not. This is my second time around having raised six adopted children and now raising two of my grandchildren. Some things about motherhood never change and some things are totally different when you have a one day old baby and you are 61 years old! My blog is at http://themedicaremom.blogspot.com

Well, the newborn turns 7 next month and the ten-teen turns 11 in July and I'm turning blue laughing so hard. God must have a really good sense of humor!

I blog/write because I love to write. It helps when you're passionate about the subject you're writing about. For example, I write about my adventures in baking: cakes, cupcakes, cookies, desserts, and general cake/cookie, etc. decorating.

It does genuinely help me when I'm feeling down (I suffer from severe Psoriatic Arthritis therefore mobility disabled). It always cheers me up and I even like looking at past posts to see how I'm coming along and progressing with my baking and decorating.

I sometimes feel that I possibly write too long posts and ramble though but that's because I love to write! Haha! As you can tell by the length of this comment. It's great to be a member here and meet new friends that would be a world away without the internet.

I triede getting to sweet2eatbaking.com and my computer just kept spinning...kind of like some of my days. Jody, the Medicare Mom. In case you are wondering, I'm on the tv screen that those two cute girls are looking at.

Hi Jody, how odd. It's working perfectly fine for me on both my iMac computer and my iPad (I just checked, lol). Must be a strange issue your end since it looks like you've had the same issue on Heather's blog. Or perhaps, it's a blogger/blogspot issue at the moment since Heather's blog is also with blogger/blogspot. [shrug]

 

In the meantime, you can look up my posts on RSS but it's not the same.
