It could be me or this i-pad. I don't think I've turned in off in a week...got toknow where the turn off button is first, I guess. I usually just let the battery run down. I'll try again when I get home.

Oh, love my iPad! I rarely turn on. Y laptop except to post on Blogger as you cant otherwise as Tara's I know. But I do all my writing on pages on my iPad with a keybooard, the. Send it in Word to my laptop to post. Anyone with an iPad, do you know how to post from it?

Hi Sandra, I use my iPad with a keyboard too. Had it set up to my apple wireless keyboard until I bought the keyboard dock. Love it!

You can post to your blog with an iPad using the Blogsy app (does all the platforms like blogger, wordpress, tumbler, etc.) With Blogsy, you can also post in either rich text format (like on here) or HTML view. Add photos, etc. Or if you use Wordpress (either self-hosted or wordpress.com) you can the official Wordpress app.

If you're looking for an app for organising your Google reader subscriptions which allows you to comment in the app itself, rather than the hassle of copying the link and pasting in Safari to comment. Then I use the Reeder app (also available for Mac, iPad (obviously), and iPhone.

All these apps are used by myself and are the best I've found so far hence my recommendation. If you would like, I can provide screen shots but I'm assuming you'll see them already when you check out the links, lol.

Lisa, you're a sweetheart!!! Thank you! I quickly downloaded both. Can't wait to try them! I never would have known.
I guess I still will email my drafts in Pages to my laptop just for safe keeping! Thank you! And don't you fins social networking much. Ore fun and accessible on the iPad? Thing is, I can't get off of it. Oh wanted to ask you what kind of keyboard you have. I have the one that splits and folds up but I have to keep the ipad clipped in to it most of the time.

You're very welcome, Sandra. I find certain things harder on the iPad than I would on my iMac. Maybe it's just me? lol.

I used to use the Apple wireless keyboard with my iPad (which I use with my iMac computer). But I recently purchased the Apple keyboard dock as I do most of my iPad browsing in bed. Specifically...

Hehe, this is how I lay in bed on my iPad. So comfy!

(The app that's open on my iPad in this photo is the Reeder app. Not sure if you downloaded that or Wordpress?)

Let me know how you get on with the apps. I love them all.

I like that little table yo have too! :)) this is the one hubby got me for Christmas, a little pricey but neat that it folds up.

Now I want your little bed table! I'm usually on the couch with a lapdesk but it's bulky....maybe I still start writing on the bed. though I may snooze...just got myself some nice headphones today so now I can just shut out the whoel world....

Can't tell if this is directed at me or someone else, Jody, because of the threaded system putting it down here at the bottom. Although, I'm pretty geeky. Explain exactly what you've done? Where did you go to put email in and what blue thing?

Lisa Crunkhorn, whatever you type comes to me in ane-mail. At the end of what you are saying, there are about 4 lines of letters;numbers;etc. stuff that can only be decoded with my Little Orphan Annie decoder ring which I have lost, so i click on the four lines and it takes me to the beginning of the "Does anyone write for the sake of writing. Then I scroll down forever until I find something that remotely reminds me of what I just read.

I love writing just because.  =)  Not to say I wouldn't do it for money..but I like blogging without too much pressure to be "authentic".  I am who I am.
