A Mom Blog Social Network
Hey guys. I would love your feedback. I have a landing page on my blog that does not include immediate blog feed. The user has to click on the several options to find one of 4 blog feeds. Do I lose traffic by having this cover page? What do you think? Lost it or keep it? Any feedback would be great. Please look at My Chocolate Peacesif you want to see what I am talking about. Thank you!
I think it's a pretty page and like it very much; However, I think it's a bit redundant to have links in three different places. The top choices give an alternative to those who may not want to click through the pictures. I think the links to the same pages at the bottom could be taken out. Question: why do you have 5 at the top, 4 out of 5 in the pictures, and then two of the same and two different ones at the bottom? That's confusing to me.
I don't think the landing page would be confusing if you made the links more consistent. Love, love, love the look. :)
Thank you Amy! That is exactly what I needed to hear for 2 reasons: I was wondering if I was losing traffic on the first page and second, I think I finally have completed the idea of what I want my blog to be about and the why behind it. Anyway, Some pages are still under construction, but I have changed the front page around a bit. I hope you will come back for a visit. Thanks!
That's awesome! :)
I'll definitely come back for a visit. I'm a chocoholic. If you ever, you know, need to send chocolate to someone for a review I'm *totally* your woman. LOL
I'm with Amy - the page is pretty but I don't think I understand how to use it properly.
