Post it on twitter, facebook, and groups like this. :) There are actually follow groups, you follow everyone in the group and build friendships and followers. Good Luck!

Whenever I blog, I'll twitter my blog posts. Blog posts also will also feed into my facebook page. My blog address is also part of my signature. I guess you try to maximize exposure by blogging often and entering your blog in various directories. You can also exchange links with like minded people.

I definitely posted on Facebook, Twitter, etc. I also joined several groups like this one including The Secret is in the Sauce, Mom Blog Network, Mom Bloggers Club, and Lady Bloggers Society. As you go to people's sites on there & leave comments & stuff like that, you'll get more followers.

I also participate in several BlogHops or Linky Lists like Follow Me Back Tuesday, Follow Me Fridays & Friday Follow. There are a lot more of these & the more you read other mom blogs, the more you'll find them. I've been doing it now for just over 1 week & I already have 57 followers in a week. I also try to follow & comment other blogs. It tends to kind-of be a "you follow me, I'll follow you" kind of thing. I've also found the more followers I get, the more comments & it just all has increased a lot for me in just a week.

Are you tweeting your blog posts? That often draws people to a topic, and then they become followers. I tweet mine a number of times during the day when I write a new one, because people are on Twitter at different times.

Also, if you actively read other's blogs and follow, they'll often stop by and then start following yours!

My bloggy pal, Brenda over at MummyTime hosts a great blog hop each Friday called FlogYoBlog Friday. You add your blog to her Linky list every Friday, and then you check some others out and before you know it, you'll have new followers each week! It's a great way to promote your blog, and find other great blogs.

Other then posting your link in places and commenting I can't really think of a way to get followers. Unless you force them to follow you with a giveaway xD But I'm following you nao. :D

I'm in the same boat. I'm just trying to get out there and read and comment more blogs. I also try to follow anyone that follows me. It's only fair, right?! AND it's usually a great blog too!
