Hi All! I'm a mother to 2 children Zach who is almost 20 and Jocelyn who is 17. I've been married for 21 years and live in Upstate NY. We've recently bought our first house since we moved Upstate 4 years ago. I'm a freelance writer, copy editor and proof reader and I work for some local textbook publishers. That's my paying job... I blog though because copy writing can be a little dry especially for the textbook industry so I write to keep my creative skill sharp, and also because, well... I love it! My blog centers around my life in Saratoga Springs -- cooking, traveling, gardening and cool things to do in the Northeast. I started blogging as a travel blogger for a local website so lots of posts will be about places I've been. Hope you will read and follow me on http://frommycornerofsaratoga.blogspot.com

Hi All!  I am completely new to blogging and so I am thrilled to find this great community!  I am a first time mom staying home with my 14 month old amazing little boy.  My husband and I are trying to go back to the basics - focusing on family and home. For someone who was never domestic, I am doing my best at figuring out everything from parenting to cleaning to sewing.  I am cloth diapering and breastfeeding and I was always reading other mom blogs for advice, information and support.  I started blogging because I figured that maybe I would be able to help out another new mom somewhere.

My name is Kristen and I am the proud owner of Curious Cora--the website and my daughter.(www.curiouscora.com) I am a first time SAHM, and I love everything about blogging and connecting with other moms through blogging.

My blog is pretty eccentric, because I don't just focus one thing--I focus on everything! My daughter, my husband, myself, learning new things, doing new things, pictures, product reviews, giveaways. You name it, I'll talk about it!

My blogging philosophy would be to just have fun with it! Do what you want to do with your blog, even if that's not going to get you the most followers or a great PR rank. If you like the way your blog looks and what you write about, it's good enough!

My blog is about my parenting journey, even though I have a nagging feeling I don't really have any idea how to parent since I grew up in the next best thing to the Addam's Family. 

My blogging philosophy is 1. Don't press the Publish button unless it's been edited relentlessly. 2. Write what you know about and readers will find you. 3. Humor helps everything, especially labor pains (see The Revised Birth Plan). 4. So does brutal honesty (read What Surprised Me Most About Childbirth).
