What's your blogging philosophy? Not really sure. I just recently started blogging in January. I am currently working on the 100 Days of Photos challenge.  I am a mom of 3 boys; a proud Military wife, a Scentsy Consultant and an animal lover :)

@Melissa Berry - Thank you!  Wish I could've customized it even more, but I'm restricted to whatever the template I'm using allows, which was basically the background and the header.

It's all done using a digital scrapkit Just So Scrappy.  I briefly posted about it here.

I could actually customize a bit more if I made my own widget titles...but I haven't time to even think about that.  But I just might do it, and soon!

I am using the free wordpress.com and not the .org...so I can't do much with mine.  Took me forever to figure that out LOL

@Melissa - Ooops sorry about that.  I should've made that clear....I'm also using the 'free' wordpress (not the .org)...i.e. my blog is hosted on Wordpress, but depending on the theme you've chosen for your blog, there are certain things you can change to customize and personalize your blog's look.

I used one of the free themes found on wordpress and just changed what the theme developer has allowed to be customized.

You just gotta search and try out the different themes to find which ones allow what (background, header, etc.) to be changed.

The theme I'm using is called Bouquet, and I chose it because the theme colors (which I believe can't be changed) matches the scrapkit I chose to use to customize the background and the header.

Anyway, sorry if I confused you to believe you can do A LOT, neither can I, really, but it's a matter of finding the theme that will let you customize some of what you want.  HTH.

My blogging philosophy: Be yourself! I write in my own voice, as most pro-bloggers would recommend. I try to post a variety of content with things of ambiguous interests but ultimately, I post what I want and share the things that make me happy in daily life. Hopefully those things will bring some joy or inspiration to others as well :) I started my blog as a crafty/cooking blog but it's slowly morphed more into a Kid/Food blog (close to the original plan, but not quite the same). I use my blog to gather my thoughts and catalog ideas I want to save.
