What's your blogging philosophy? I started blogging here and there during my last semester of college.  It was something to do.  It's only recently that I've started blogging regularly.  Now I see it serves as a link to my family and friends from across the country and to like-minded people.  It's also a wonderful to look back at how life has played out: marriage, college, owning a mutt, my first teaching job, motherhood. I look forward to seeing how the newest journey pans out: Army and med student wife.

Welcome! I am new to blogging too, and I was drawn right to you. One of my closest friends is from Ayr, currently living in Edinburgh, and I think Scottish people (and Europeans in general) are automatically cooler than Americans by default! Hello from Pittsburgh! My name is shannon. 
just started this blogging thing,
working on an ambulance as an EMT and being a single mom to 3 kids provides me with some interesting stories.
Some fun, witty and heartfelt, others well lets say unique. 
have a very sarcastic sense of humor and often forget that tone of voice is not avalible with the keypad of my iPhone. So if I offend at any point, I won't lose sleep over it. Bear with me as I get back on track after a brief derailment.
