What's your blogging philosophy? I started blogging here and there during my last semester of college.  It was something to do.  It's only recently that I've started blogging regularly.  Now I see it serves as a link to my family and friends from across the country and to like-minded people.  It's also a wonderful to look back at how life has played out: marriage, college, owning a mutt, my first teaching job, motherhood. I look forward to seeing how the newest journey pans out: Army and med student wife.

Welcome! I am new to blogging too, and I was drawn right to you. One of my closest friends is from Ayr, currently living in Edinburgh, and I think Scottish people (and Europeans in general) are automatically cooler than Americans by default!
