Hi, everyone!  My name is Sissy Ski (totally fake name b/c I blog inappropriately but am a professional :) ) and my blog address is www.igottalaugh.com.  It's an irreverent take on life and extended family, but don't let that fool you; I'm actually a nice person.  Some people are surprised by that when they meet me.  :)  I am passionate about reading, writing, traveling, and working out, although you'd never tell that from the last post I did, about my pregnancy this time last year.  I have a huge Polish nose and trash-ay roots, but dammit, I like it that way.  And, well, the budget doesn't allow for rhinoplasty or anything more than semi-frequent visits to my favorite hair stylist in town.  If you'd like to link up blogs, let me know!  I'm always looking to help others with publicity while getting some myself.

What's your blogging philosophy?

I began blogging as a way to keep family updated on the kids and family. I found though that the posts that got the most comments and compliments were the ones that I wrote about my thoughts, feelings, or ideas. I started a more public blog a few months ago as a way of testing the waters of a writing career and to connect online with other working moms sharing the same struggles and issues as myself.
