Hi, I'm Amy! I'm new to this site and I have only been blogging since July 2010. I love it when an idea for a new blog post comes to my mind, but I seem to stuggle to find a topic. What's your blogging philosophy? Hummmmmm, I write what Im feeling at the time. Im a Mom, Nana, Business Women who is transitioning from "Mom" to "Margaret" My daughter, whose 22, is moving out within the next few days along with my grand daughter and I have to get used to being just me again.

So Im a virtual assistant as well as a distributor with Send Out Cards as well as a toy reviewer with Eden Fantasys. Yeah thats me.

What's your blogging philosophy? Blogging is therapy! Sometimes I have something enlightening to say, sometimes I just need to bitch. I became an overnight mom to 3 abused children almost 3 years ago and gave birth to a son last year. My experience is unique and I have some good stuff to offer other moms...but my blog is sometimes vague because I have a really awesome stalker too :) YAY! I'm also a published documentary photographer who owns her own company. Blogging isn't life, my family is my life, sometimes I have time to blog, sometimes I don't.

I am a stay at home mother of 5 children...yep 5! The kicker is we have 4 girls and only 1 boy! Turns out girls are easier when they are babies and toddlers and boys are (so I have been told) easier in the teen years!
I went back to school and got my degree and then worked full time for enough time that I can honestly say that working full time is much easier than being the stay at home mom!
I have only been blogging since April of this year. We moved to the East coast from the West coast away from friends and family so it has helped keep some family connected to all the crazy that is our lives.
I love reading other fun and funny blogs of other moms...especially when life isn't perfect! When there is no basis for comparison you get drawn into the belief that your life is the only one thats not perfect. Well I can't imagine perfect being any fun at all, maybe less stressful, but no fun!
I hope to meet and make some friends!
(Disclaimer I apologize for any typos-my two year old son recently popped a bunch of keys off of my laptop...some are still not back on yet but I do have all the pieces! 4 of the 8 missing are commonly used keys the other 4 are function, alt, and whatever else those ones down there do.)

Just back from a long weekend in Ardnamurchan, the most westerly point of mainland Scotland. No internet connection, phone or TV! I am now following you all on Twitter and once I've caught up with my washing (yuck!) I will check out your blogs.

Blogging Bio~I started writing (in a journal) at 18; began to publish similar pieces when I became a mom; and fell into blogging because I love writing and sharing, but not chasing money for it. I birthed my first blog in 2006 in lieu of a website for my work as a life coach and yogadance instructor, but my real blogging work began about a year and a half ago, in 2008, when I published my first WordPress blog, and then went on to niche out 5 other blogs.
