What's your blogging philosophy?: I'm a wife and mom to 2 young boys. I decided to start blogging as a way to share my story about being a mom and surviving infidelity. Hi! My name is Desiree and I'm new to Bloggy Moms. I'm actually surprised I got accepted. I started blogging February 2012. That's about a month now. 

I'm a stay at home mom with my son who's 12 weeks old. I also have a stepson. I get to be a first time mom and first time step mom at the same time. Hurray! 

I blog everyday. I find it very therapeutic. I'm actually a tornado survivor. I have PTSD from the May 22nd Tornado. I'll try to keep it brief: I was crushed underneath a building and should have died. I was 7 weeks pregnant at the time. I'm finally in therapy for my PTSD, and we are working on my PPD I developed. Luckily the PPD has practically disappeared since I got on Wellbutrin. 

Anyways. Like I was saying. I blog everyday. I talk about my life. I talk about what I learn as a mother. I talk about random things. I post freebies every Wednesday, and I write product reviews. I say UM a lot when I do vlogs. I fully intend of trying to get companies to send me products to review. So far I've contacted 6 companies and they haven't replied back. I'm not going to give up though. I'm going to keep contacting companies.  For the time being I'm reviewing products or websites I use/come in contact/think are great causes/. I also want to run giveaways in the future as well. Again - I guess I need to get more viewers on my blog to have that opportunity. 

I really love the mommy blogger community. Everyone is so wonderful and gracious. I hope that it will continue to be that way as I grow as a blogger.

My blogging philosophy:  I used to define myself as a working mom who believed in the benefits of daycare, preschool & public school; breast-feeding is great, but not the only way to feed your child. Born & raised in northern NJ transplanted to Georgia. I still believe those things, but now I simply choose to define myself as a child of the Most High God. A work in progress and have no problem sharing my journey. Recovering food addict & compulsive over eater. Afflicted with clinical depression yet trusting God to show me the way.
