My blog is called Carol's Notes but it might also be called "adventures in reading". It's mostly about how the books intersect with our lives - you read something and start noticing corresponding things in real life. Part of my vision (still developing) is to help bring literature into everyday life and conversation. http://www.carolsnotes.net

Hello!  I am new to Bloggy Moms and am a Mom of Five who chronicles the joys and challenges of raising five children and all the lessons I have learned along the way.  I don't give anything away other than a few life lessons so that you may learn from the mistakes I have made or you can laugh at all the "funnies" that children bring into our lives.  Hope you had a wonderful 4th of July!

I love this! There are soooo many giveaway blogs and it can be hard to find the ones with substance sometimes. I'm at Dysfunction Junction and blog about myself and my kids. Just started it up a couple of months ago. I do serious life posts and lighter stuff too. I'm a non-custodial mom to two boys so its quite a bit different from what you normally see in a mom type blog. :)

Hi, 

My blog is: A Simple Life and it is just about that.

I left the fast paced world of high-tech just shy of 6 year ago now, a week before my first daughter was born. Since then, God and many good friends have shown me how to simplify my life in every aspect. 

I even spent a few years with Mennonites (Amish with electricity and cars, if you are not familiar). I continue to learn and hope others can glean from me.
