What is YOUR favorite childrens' book?
I was just wondering, what is YOUR favorite children's book? One you like to read to your children, or one from your childhood?
My favorites are the Lonely Doll series, by Dare Wright.

You are Special, by Max Lucado. A must read at any age, really, but geared toward kids between the ages of 4-10, I would say.

I love THE NAPPING HOUSE!! Love it! I so had to buy it for my son who calls it the Grandma Book!

I adore "Love You Forever" by Robert Munsch. It always brings a tear to my eye by the end. I highly recommend it.

I bought that book for my younger daughter, and that is a great book, too! I think anything Max Lucado writes, is great!

I know I love that book, as well...and sometimes when I read these great books to my younger daughter, I get choked up! (I think it's a Mommy Thing)!

My favorite to read out loud is Wild About Books by Judy Sierra - it is illustrated by Marc Brown (the Arthur guy) and is super fun to read! And the pictures are awesome!
