I'm sure each blogger would give you a different answer. I personally love learning from each of my followers and each member on Bloggy Moms. I think it creates a great community of resources when you can gather so many mom bloggers together.

It's funny you should ask. I joined Bloggy Moms to look for more followers. I am trying to build an online network. None of my local friends write or blog, so I thought I would expand and look for friends with common interests. I am new to blogging - less than a year. I am still learning and grateful for comments or suggestions.

I'm not sure myself but have been blogging for almost a year I can say that it's exciting to meet new bloggers out there and to learn of their struggles and accomplishments. It's an awesome community of seemingly like minded individuals.

For me, it is about the pride of having other bloggers or blog readers enjoy my writing. I like knowing that people find me interesting enough to keep coming back. Ok, so I'm a middle child and I need attention and love!! I write for fun, but it just gives me a warm feeling to know that my voice is being heard. And maybe someday I want to be the most powerful blogger ever.

Becoming a follower and leaving comments are ways to networking with other bloggers. If you want to treat your blog as a business you have to have a business mindset, that is networking. You'll be surprised how much inspiration you can get from other bloggers and vice versa.

Well, Artemis as you can see from the comments made there is a point of so many followers. People do take interest in what others write some will become followers some will not. Just do what you do best write bloggers will read, comment if they want to or follow. Have a great day.

I new to blogging too. The reason that I would like to have a few more followers is for the interaction. I like to give a receive advice. I like to learn from other mothers who may have been through some of the things I am dealing with. I have made a few new friends through my follower as will.

I started my blog just to "virtual scrapbook" our life. I like to be able to look back and say "A year ago today we....." My in-laws live several hours away from us as do my brothers and sisters. Blogging is a fun way to keep them connected with us. I only follow other bloggers that I have something in commom with, for instance, homeschooling. I like to see their ideas and swap advice occassionaly. I comment only on posts that resonate with me and I hope that comments received are for the same reason. I have seen many people leave me a generic comment that ends with "come see my blog and follow too." I don't have time for that. I follow and read blogs that are relevent to my life. As a mother of a homeschooling family my time it too limited to just try and get followers. If they like my blog and want to follow..good! If not they are more than welcome to "X" out!

well, for me is to get my personal point across. I wouldn't mind getting some comments back on other people's opinions. sometimes, I think people are afraid to give it out out of fear of stepping out of their boundaries, but I believe that if you give your opinion in a respectful manner and give it in a constructive way it's all good.
