Just so everyone knows, there are some kid-friendly events coming up around Fairbanks. The Alaska Railroad will be holding an open house on May 14th (saturday). They'll be doing free train rides around the rail yard, along with food and games and stuff.

Also, Fish & Game is holding their annual Kids' Fun Day at their local offices at Creamer's Field. It'll be on May 21st (11-4). They'll have a kids fishing pond (rods and bait provided), prizes, and all sorts of things.

Born and raised in Anchorage myself, living in Northern California now though.  Alaska ladies need to stick together :~)

Hmmm looks like I'm the only one...sad day. :( Well if anyone should come along, my family and I are getting ready to relocate to Kodiak, AK with orders from the US Coast Guard! :)
