Before finding seeking sponsorship to Bloggy Conference, you will need to determine a few things.

{1} The cost to attend Bloggy Conference.

This can include the cost to purchase:

A conference ticket
Airfare/gas/parking
Hotel accommodations
Food
Incidentals


{2} What you can provide your sponsor.

What type of advertising and marketing of their services/products can you provide them.



After you have determined the above, you need to create a post/page on your blog addressing your sponsorship request. {You should have a button on your blog that leads them to this page}


The following is a sample post that you can copy and edit to fit your needs.


SAMPLE POST


I am excited and eager to attend Bloggy Conference and I would love to have your sponsor me there. Bloggy Conference will be in Cincinnati, Ohio September 26 - 29, 2012. I’m looking for brands to represent from now until after Blogher. I will be happy to forward a copy of my current media kit.

Funds from sponsorship will be allocated toward:

{1} My ticket to Bloggy Conference
{2} My travel to and from Cincinnati for Bloggy Conference
{3} Lodging during Bloggy Conference
{4} Food during Bloggy Conference


I have several sponsorship packages available. I am available should you like to speak regarding any other sponsorship ideas you may have in mind.

Platinum Sponsorship {$1,000+}

This package includes:
{1} One year of advertising on my blog. Banner size and placement of your choice.
{2} One blog post per month for 12 months. Post will feature your brand/latest products, deals and/or specials. Included in the post will be any links back to your site.
{3} During Bloggy Conference, I can wear clothing with your logo/brand.
{4} Posts of your choice can be tweeted out and placed on Facebook weekly during prime times for one year.


Gold Sponsorship {$500+}

This package includes:
{1} Six months of advertising on my blog. Banner size and placement of your choice.
{2} One blog post per month for six months. Post will feature your brand/latest products, deals and/or specials. Included in the post will be any links back to your site.
{3} During Bloggy Conference, I can wear clothing with your logo/brand.
{4} Posts of your choice can be tweeted out and placed on Facebook every other week during prime times for six months.


Silver Sponsorship {$250+}

This package includes:
{1} Three months of advertising on my blog. Banner size and placement of your choice.
{2} One blog post per month for three months. Post will feature your brand/latest products, deals and/or specials. Included in the post will be any links back to your site.
{3} During Bloggy Conference, I can wear clothing with your logo/brand.
{4} Posts of your choice can be tweeted out and placed on Facebook weekly during prime times for three months.


Sponsoring/providing an iPad or Laptop - Your logo will be placed on the item and I will be using it during Bloggy Conference.

{1} Six months of advertising on my blog. Ad size and placement of your choice.
{2} One blog post per month for six months featuring your brand/latest products, deals and/or specials. Included in the post will be any links back to your site.
{3} Posts of your choice can be tweeted out and placed on Facebook weekly during prime times for six months.
