YAY!! Glad you got accepted in time! :) Here is the PR Letter sample that I used. I changed mine up to make it "my own" and to fit each of the Sponsors I contacted:

NOTE: I chose to have them send me the products, since I am adding many of the products myself from my Avon business. Easier to ship it all in one box...but then you have the cost for shipping. So, you'll have to adjust that line to fit how you want to handle it.



Hi! My name is Tree Lindsay, from "Mother of Pearl It Is" (http://www.motherofpearlitis.com), and I LOVE your shop! I found you on Audrey's Country Crafts blog.

Your "Facial and Nail Spas" would be a great addition to my giveaway package, and your "Garden Cafe Soaps" look so rich and creamy! I think my readers would love your shop as well, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in working with me in the upcoming Blogmania 2010 event, in September. My theme for Blogmania is "Relax * Unwind * Rejuvenate," which I think fits your shop perfectly.

I have sent PR letters to CSN Stores, Bodycology, King Arthur Flour, Silhouette, Keurig, Cuisinart, and SodaClub. I'm not familiar with ANY of the Etsy Stores. I feel like I should be sending letters to smaller shops, too. Any ideas?

I just signed up for the first time for an Etsy account....not to sell anything, but you have to have an account to purchase or even use the contact button on the shops. That's where I sent most of my letters....all I did was search keywords that had to do with my themes (spa, candles, lotions, christmas, decorations, holiday, etc.) and then search through some of the stores to see who had the cutest stuff. LOL

How long did it take for you to start hearing back from sponsors after you emailed them? Should I worry if I don't hear back right away?
