One of the most difficult issues many women face in today's economy is coping with the pressures of life when their husband falls victim to the nation's staggering unemployment crisis.  The emotional impact itself is a very lonely burden to carry.

We want to be strong for our husband and continue to be the glue that holds our family together, but it's hard when all we really want to do is bury our head under our pillow as if it's all just a bad dream.  The only problem is the bad dream seems to be lasting forever.

As the wife to an unemployed man, what do we do?  How do we cope?  When should we decide to go back to work?  Why do we have such powerful emotions of anger, frustration, resentment, worry, fear, and hopelessness?

Some days it's just too much to handle.

I know!  I've been there and in some ways I'm still there.

I've written a book about this very subject.  In it, I share my story as well as helpful coping tips that will help ease the intense emotions you are dealing with.  While the book is written for women, men would also benefit from the coping tips and encouragement offered.

I'm not yet sure of the exact date the book will be published and available for sale, but I'm pleased to announce that with inspiration from my sweet sister in Christ, Shannon Milholland of Jesus & My Orange Juice, the book now has an official title!

I'm hoping to have it published before the end of the year, but my perfect plan and time frame may not necessarily be the same as God's perfect timing.   He called me to write the book,  therefore He will ultimately determine when it will be published.
