 I am doing TWO special projects that are near and dear to my heart. Now that the plans have progressed, I want to share more details and ask you to become a part of my dream projects.

PROJECT ONE

Motherhood, the military and special needs families are three topics I am truly passionate about. Being able to bring them together in one project is amazing.

Initially, it will be a series of blog posts as I previously explained. My ultimate dream goal is a book containing tips and ideas to make life a little easier and less stressful. It will also include profiles of and tips from military special needs families.  It is my hope that it will also include tips for those families from a mental health professional. The dream of writing a book is one I have held close to my heart since taking journalism and creative writing classes as a child.

I am asking for submissions and ideas from all of you. I am looking for your tips, how to's, shortcuts, recipes, kids' activities, etc. about 6 topics important to ALL moms and 2 special topics. If you can think of any additional topics or subtopics, I will gladly consider adding them as well.

Any submissions, ideas, photos, illustrations, etc. you provide will be credited to you and include a link to your website, blog or FB page if you so choose.  You do not have to be a blogger, a mom or related to the military to help with this project. Everyone is invited to take part.

I know it is a long shot but a dream has to start somewhere....

PROJECT TWO

I am also taking nominations/submissions  for a series of profiles on women and military spouses who have small businesses, blogs or who create and sell their own items.

I want to highlight these fantastic women and their businesses here on this blog. I have a list of questions for the profile subject to answer in order to write the profile. As soon as I have 3 profiles completed the series will begin and continue indefinitely as submissions are received.
