The last couple years we lived in Texas before we moved here, we lived in Livingston. I use to go into Houston quite often for Dr. appts and to see my sister. She lives close to Humble.

I was born in Leveland and we also lived in Lubbock, but I spent most of my time in Houston. We tried to move back to Houston last year, but it all feel through so we're still here. I'm growing to love it though!

 

Also, JC That's Me, we lived in Tulsa for a little while when I was 4 (my dad worked in oil and natural gas). I know my parents loved it there, so I hope you feel welcome while you are there!

Krista, what part of Texas are you from? My hubby is from Texas too. He was born in Galveston and I met him in Austin. He is %100 Texas too, but he moved here for me.

Loving that there is a Louisiana Moms group! I am a SAHM with 3 littles who are 3,2, and 7mo. We live in Baton Rouge. My hubby is 100% cajun born and raised from Marksville, and I am a true texan! We are a strange mix, but I love it! I just started blogging about 5 months ago and love everything about it. I especially love how I've been able to meet awesome blogging women and to be able to write what I'm feeling. and sorry Tanya... just noticed i left u out of tha welcome msg but doubled Sharon. Guess thats what what I gwt for posting with my phone. not to mention the fact that it tells me the page didn't load so I repost and have double posted my last msg! lol! With hubby job hunting and the kids needing the computer for school, I have pretty much kept to my phone. I don't think I've even made a blog post since Christmas.

Yep. Our roads are most terrible! and I hate that they dont have shoulders. We like to hike from our house to the Kisatchi National Forest but it's so dangerous w/out sholders on a major hwy! We're pretty much confined to the ditch and biking is terrible. My youngest never gets to go b/c he can't handle the uphill climbs on the soft ground. Summer is a little better but not much bc they dont keep the sides of the roads mowed...we need snake boots! lol!
