I'm having the same problem! My son is 15 months and luckily this weekend it's nice out! We've been going crazy! I'm no help, i've been taking him to the mall play areas to run around a little and he enjoys that.

The Magic House is great!  The St. Louis City Museum is also great, especially in the climbing area with the tunnels and such.  The Science Center has a couple of great exhibit areas that little ones can interact in, also. hmmm, those are a few off the top of my head.  My kids are older (12 and 17) so they have a totally different way and places to 'work off their energy,' lol

The mall is a great place to go. It's free, they can people watch you can do a couple of laps with the stroller. Then they have those tot play grounds, where they can climb and play.

The magic house is the absolutely BEST because there is something there for all ages.  My brother, his wife and their 2 in a half year old son were in town for my dad's wedding a few month back and this was my first thought.  My grandson is just a year younger than Kai but there were so many things that they both could play with and they were entertained for hours.  In fact, we had to literally drag them both out at closing time!   Come prepared for a long day as the place is so much larger than when I was a kid but not overwhelming.  I hear that if you use Social Living or one of the social networks, you can get in for 1/2 price but the tickets are not bad even without the coupon.  Also, you can buy family passes that are good throughout the year and seem like a great investment.  The kids were beat and crashed and burned when we got home.  

 

The City Museum was another stop for them (but we didn't go) and my sister in law said she was paranoid the  whole time that their son was going to fall into something and not be able to get out so it might not be best for littler ones.  Also, don't forget the Zoo.  It is going to get cooler soon and it will be a nice place to dispose of some energy!
