Sometimes when my daughter doesn't listen, I laugh

Started by Shannon Seay Apr 14. 0 Replies

Confession: Sometimes I laugh when my 6-year-old doesn't listen.... Not when she doesn't listen to me, of course, but when she doesn't listen to my fiance' (her soon-to-be-step-dad), and she stands…Continue

Natural Childbirth

So my first confession is that I went natural for my labor and it was awesome! I know that's really not the best confession. My confession would be that I was more scared of getting an IV than of the…Continue

My son's first week of school went well...he told his teacher he's had to sleep on the floor (we let him camp out while our A/C was broken and we were waiting for the repair man to fix it - it was…Continue

And I really have no intention to stop, haha. This makes me a weird mommy in a lot of my groups, but I just don't see the point in censoring your language!(Racist, misogynistic, and homophobic…Continue

I'm not very good at the parenting thing. I'm either trying to hard or not at all.

Confession: My daughter is going to be 10 months old tomorrow and I still have not gotten her to sleep in her crib. I used to agonize over it. Now I am just trying to go with the flow of things and remind myself that this won't last forever. I confess, that I enjoy our bond but I want her to know that she does not need me in order to feel safe at night. I confess that I am torn on holding on and letting go but I am trying to let it just be. I also confess, that I get a little irritated when someone tells me how "bad" it is that I have not gotten her to sleep in her crib yet. Okay, I think that is enough confessing. :)

Confession: one of my 17 month olds first words was "shit" and he totally learned it from me. He says it randomly when you ask him something....we can be at the store and someone says something to him and he will go "shiiiit" ughhhhhhh

Mommy Confessions? I'm pregnant now with our fist baby and I've been going through the whole pregnancy like a normal happy and excited pregnant wife but sometimes I catch myself thinking "Is this really what I want?". Well, too late to back out now, right? Haha! Checkout my experiences and moments about being pregnant and having this beautiful baby on The Weird Three Months Of My Life. I would love to hear your own stories. :)

I confessed to being a bully. It was only for 5 minutes, but I've carried the guilt and shame of the event with me for over two decades. I hope that my indiscretions won't result in my son behaving in the same way toward another child. http://justmeandyoukid.com/the-day-i-became-a-bully/
