Hi everyone.  I have two wonderful step daughters who I refer to as my daughters because they have been living with my husband and I since they were 3 & 5. At that time my son, from a previous marriage, was just turning 1.  It was very easy to blend our families.  The girls were so open to having me in their life.  They are a blessing to have with us and I wouldn't want it any other way.  All of our children get along very well together and are just as close as my brothers and I were growing up.  Occasionally, one of the girls will "test" me, but one look tells them that we all follow the same rules under this roof.  We have been very lucky to have any major complications.

Hello, I am a Step Mom to as I have a Step daughter who is 22 with three boys of her own, then a step daughter who is 16 and a step son who is 21. I am the mom of a little boy who is 2 1/2 and it upsets me that these kids do not come around and spend time with there brother and they do not come to his Birthday party and all they clal for is money and now it is Christmas and hubby wants to buy them presents and I do not as I so not like how they treat us. What would you do?
