I love commercial drive. There is so much to see and so much community in the area. I live in Langley, BC my favorite trail would have to be the Fort to Fort Trail along the Fraser River.

Hi! Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm from Yorkshire in the UK originally but now live in Vancouver with my Canadian husband and 4 kids (aged 6 months to 7 years). We've been here for 3 years. Very excited about finding this group as i don't know of any other mummy bloggers in this area.

I Love Kits! My husband and I were married at St. Augustines on 8th and Maple, We brought our son home from the hospital to our place on Broadway and Vine and we celebrated his first birthday there. I loved going to sweet obession for coffee and catch ups with girlfriends and who doesn't love the view of the North Shore and Downtown from Kits Beach

I am not exactly in Vancouver... I lived in North Van for 10 years and now live back in the interior.  Back to my home town to raise my own children.  I am not going to lie, I love it here but I really miss it there.  I have a lot of family (Aunts, Uncles and cousins) there and am lucky enough to be there a couple of times a year.  I was reading some posts - my Grandmother lived on the corner of Kensington and Kitchener - also near SFU.  :o)

I know what you mean hilltop!!  I'll be taking both my boys down there plus one of their little friends.

I hear it's awesome and we're not far away living at SFU but I already know it's going to be too busy with my two little ones not to mention my frayed nerves.  I hear Italian Day is happening on the Drive on Sunday!  I'm hoping the rainy season is over.  It was a long haul.

Is anyone planning on going to "hats off day?"  North Burnaby community event TONS of stuff for the kids to do, the best BBQ chicken from the Legion YUM YUM!
