Writer's Workshop Weekly Prompt & Link Up (January 23, 2012)

Wow!! Those were some fantastic fairy tales last week!!

Did you miss it? No worries. There's a new prompt issued EVERY MONDAY that you can join in on.

Whether you choose fiction, memoir, blogging, non-fiction, or creative non-fiction, the prompt is for you to write whatever you are inspired to write. That's the purpose of the prompt. I am always open to prompt suggestions, so feel free to send them to me!!

Ok, so let's get the ball rolling here. You will have until 11:59 pm on Saturday to write to the prompt and link up your work. A new prompt and a new linkup will go up the following Monday.

Without further ado, this week's prompt is:

Write about whatever you want, but it MUST end with this line: "The moon hung large in the sky waiting for their next move."

Focus on the words you use and cut out the ones that really aren't needed. Does it further your story along, or will the story stay the same if you cut it out? These are a couple of questions you can ask yourself when you read back through what you wrote to help tighten it up.
