I lived a portion of my childhood in a small, yet busy town in upstate New York.  My parents owned a laundromat and we resided in the apartment above it.  Around us were other homes, a church, small markets and various other businesses.  Back then, it was a wonderful place to live - well, through the eyes of a child  it was anyway.

We met at work in 2007 and even though we worked in two totally different departments within the company, we hit it off immediately.  It wasn't long after when we started hanging out regularly.  She became part of my family and mine part of hers.  We had family dinners at each others houses, celebrated birthdays - you name it we were two peas in a pod.  We had such a close bond we called each other 'sister'.

Preterm labor the doctor called it - and it was pretty severe.  They put me on medications to keep me from delivering too early. And they told me I couldn't work and needed to stay on bed rest.  This keeps getting better and better I thought.  Thankfully the semester was over at school.  I dropped out.  Mentally I could not take anymore and neither could my body.  The dosage of medication…
