I just have to laugh. My struggle with patience has become a source of humor to me. It has been brought to my attention a lot lately, for which I am grateful. One cannot work to improve if one is in ignorance (or denial) of the problem, right? Each time my patience is tested I get stronger. It's kind of funny, in that I'm finally coming to the realization...why rush? Why not just chill out and enjoy the trip. I'll get there eventually and when I do it will be worth the wait. My Daughter My Friend

It is a rainy night in Carmel, IN and I’m coming to you from my car, where I am waiting for my daughter to be tutored in Algebra II. It’s something I do every Sunday night. I look at it as one hour of solitude. I brought my laptop with me and it is a good time to write. A this moment it is quite peaceful with the rain gently tapping on the roof and the shadows of the raindrops creating a polka dot pattern on my hands and the keyboard.
