The sun is shining through the window next to me

I love sunshine. The warmth it provides, and the brightness are sure to lighten any mood! It's beauty reminds me of the light we are called to be in the world! It's brightness reminds me of the Son shining in my heart and my life!

While my head and nose are stuffy, and a cough seems to be making an appearance, the sun shining lightens my spirits and encourages me to get up and moving throughout the day!

A day at the water…

Since Tuesday, I have been thinking about how I view teaching vs. training.

Teaching reminds me of school ~ one person instructing another ~ helping and encouraging when difficulties arise.

Training I picture ~ pushups, running ~ always being driven to push yourself harder and more than ever before ~ the instructor demanding more because they believe you are capable of more than you yourself believe.…

Last night I went to bed exhausted, not feeling well and with nothing on the slate to blog about today. God has always provided something for me to write, even when I feel as if I have nothing to say. For this I am very thankful, this tells me I am here for a purpose, beyond just loving to write. God has me here, writing for Him, to reach others with words that often are not mine, but His.

Encouragement.....something as parents we tend to look for. Whether it be from our parents, our in laws, or others, we need/want to know we're doing good at the "parenting" thing.
