What do you blog about? {In your own words}

My greatest desire for A Little R & R is that it be an encouragement to women - particularly mothers. Moms face unbelievable pressure to live up to an image that is often unattainable - or at the very least is difficult to attain. Women face fierce competition and fall into deep comparison traps. My desire is to gather as many women and moms as I can to join me on a journey of learning to be content with who we are and who God created us to be. I pray that women everywhere will find A Little R & R to be just that - a place to rest and relax. A place of encouragement and laughter. A place of joy and peace - where the love of Jesus is felt on every page.
