Raising girls scares the living shit out of me. There, I said it. It isn’t because I am not confident in my parenting abilities; it is because I remember what it is like to be a teenage girl. The other night I was making a mental list of all the things I needed to get done. Laundry, grocery shopping, dressers need cleaned out, windows are filthy, you all know what I mean. Once I started making this list, all I could think about was how hard it is to get all these things accomplished, ever.
