I focus on saving money and making good thrifty decisions for your budget. I also talk about special needs and advocacy and adoption.

I blog because:: I write and am a freelance journalist. I won awards writing for newspapers and magazines and realized that blogging and social media are the way of the future for media and frankly I decided to get on that before it left me behind.
