My daughter had her first piano recital this past Saturday. She did an awesome. We were so afraid that she would end up chickening out or mess up and start crying on stage. Friday night hubby started talking to me about how he thought she shouldn’t sing – just play the piano (to make it easier on her). I was like, great – thanks for waiting until the night before to express your feelings.

Hubby got him a new girlfriend Monday night. A beautiful grill that he’s been dreaming about ever since we moved out of the depths of southern hell. See in southern hell we had a cheap little charcoal grill that he would use almost every day during the long humid summers. That beloved redneck grill barely lasted through the 3 summers we were there and we decided to leave it behind.
