I think everyone having the right to their own opinions and practices is part of what makes this country so amazing. But once in a while,…Continue

With the economy the way it is right now, we could all use some extra money when it comes to feeding our families. One of my wife's jobs (she does odd jobs online) is to look for discount coupons and FREE stuff related to families. She came across this one last night, and got it redeemed almost right away! Unlike many of my medical school counterparts, I don't do much going out (i.e. partying, bar hoping, etc.). Being a mother and a medical school student does not afford me much extra time for shenanigans and what not. So when I do get to go out and do something, even if it's mild and I'm home by 10 pm, that's a pretty good night for me.
Tonight was one of those nights. The American Medical Women's Association (AMWA) chapter at my school put on a mixer and a faculty couple was so…Continue

I was reading a few funny blog posts the other day from writers who were getting a little frustrated with social media.
They didn't want to blog or tweet or Skype or sell - they just wanted to write. And while their comments were funny, they were serious.
