New Pampers- Disappointment

We have been loyal Pampers users since we brought Ethan home from the

hospital. They happened to be the brand that the hospital used and

other than the two small packs of NB Huggies Naturals I had purchased

while still pregnant, we had only used the Pampers Swaddlers. We loved

Yes, I am depressed. Majorly. I've been battling with depressions since

my teenage years, was in therapy as a teenager and on anti-depressants

after I started college. About a year later I decided, that I was done

With a weekend full of baseball it could be easy to get sidetracked or lost in all the really bad hot dogs and pretzels with cheese at the ball park and forget what this holiday weekend is all about. Thinking Thursday

Thinking Thursday - This kept slapping me across the face this week! The thoughts and major "don't ignore this" moments have been way up on the issue of sex trafficking, human sex trade and how I am supposed to help. It was about a month ago when I was on the woman's retreat with my church, when I started to talk with another woman about her desire to learn more about what we can do in regard to this major international issue.

The Worst Mom Ever?

OK, in my opinion, this incident, if not making me the worst mom ever, certainly puts me in the running. Last week when listening to an author speak about her son with high functioning autism, a lady interjected with comments about her DD with Down's syndrome. As she's talking, the fleeting (like not even a nanosecond long, honest) thought ran through my mind: I wish my DD had a "visible" disability instead of Asperger's Syndrome.
