Pack Up Your Troubles

I spent a good portion of my pre-child life traveling, which of course means packing as well. So when preparing for trips, making sure I have clean undies and my special cucumber mango body wash is like second nature.

Week 21

I remember being pregnant and thinking "I can't wait to have my old

clothes back, my other 'babies' have been hanging in the closet

helplessly for the past 10 months. I miss my clothes!" I innocently

Insomnia...

I'm a hoarder...of a different kind.

My first memory is when I was 3.

Michael Jackson's Thriller had just come out and everyone was head over

heels in love with it. We lived in a two story house at the time and my

one brother was watching the video on tv, my other brother was

listening to it on the radio, and my mom was upstairs listening to a

Taking a PTO Day

As a working mom, I am grateful for PTO (personal time off) which means a day off from work but with pay. Ya! So when my little boo came down with a fever of 101 degrees last night, it was a no-brainer to call it a “PTO day” today.

It always feels a bit strange being home during the week. I am used to the daily grind of working out early in the morning, getting the kiddies off to school/daycare and commuting to work. That’s all before 8:00 am!

Oh where oh where did my old body go...

...oh where oh where could it be?

I had a beautiful, healthy 8lb baby girl. Yay! Now, will my body ever get back to the way it used to be? If you're like me, you wanted your body back the day after you had your baby. Yes, it took nine months to create your little bundle of joy but to know it might take just as long or longer to get your body back is agony for any mom.
