As the amazing technology of our world develops at a rapid pace, and with the death of Steve Jobs a brilliant innovative advanced man, I ponder about the incredible advances that have been made since I was born in 1967. Our lives are techno and if you’re not in it or on it, you’re just not with it.

Oh my! What an amazing and delectable week it has been and it started with the Barilla pasta event and celebrity chef Scott Conant! Read all about the event on the blog and learn about the new pasta that I was VERY impressed with. I can't normally eat whole grains, but this one I had zero problems with!

When, however, people try to disguise parenting critiques and advice as innocent conversations with my children, it makes me want to kick puppies. First of all, did I accidentally put on my cone-shaped hat with the word “DUNCE” stenciled down the front or did you forget to wear yours? When we were in the…Continue

Ok, well, that's stretching it a bit. But supper was not a success. I'm not surprised honestly. I was simply making due. Thanks to my husband's work schedule my menu plan this week got shaken up. Last night…

Leading up to our date, I decided that I wanted our evening to be extra special. We made reservations at our favourite restaurant, I showered (which usually only happens every second day), styled my hair, did my makeup and selected a hot dress to wear! I was ready... but then I…

Thursday, I’d just been feeling off, like maybe I was coming down with something. I tried to ignore it because I had to volunteer at the middle school, and my daughter was in the school play. I tried to ignore the nausea, and the chills. The pain in my lower right side continued to get worse, so was hard to ignore.
