Let me start by saying that I hope all had as wonderful of a Mother's Day. Mine was absolutely wonderful. Even though D-man had to work, he and Clevis were here for a bit in the evening. So I had the chance to be with all of the kids throughout the day, which is of course all that I ask for. I also finally managed to get a couple of photos of my lovely little garden. The back corner is not really empty, but I planted my seeds in that little corner.

Yesterday was a totally amazing day. I spent half of the day doing house work...laundry, dishes, and scrubbed the bathroom. Even though day started rather leisurely for me, joining some hops, and getting the kids going on school work, it didn't stay that way. Lil man came in to tell me that he had left a Mountain Dew can in his bedroom overnight, and that is not a good thing...ant infestation! I know my 11-year-old son is a capable child.  He likes to help his dad out at the store and recently our neighbors hired him to look after their cats while they are away on vacation.  He does well in school, is a brown belt in karate, loves to play everything from "Bach Minuet in G Major" to "Moves Likes Jagger" on the piano, puts his dirty clothes in the hamper (mostly), keeps his room fairly neat, is always up and dressed for school on time, is helpful,…
