There's Always Tomorrow
Mentally, I get home fried from work. Love it, I am so busy. But, when I get home my energy is high enough to only see and play with the kid after being picked up from daycare and once we get to eat something at dinner time, my body just goes into zombie mode.
I have so much to do for me! - I keep hearing in the back of my head. I'm at a point in my life that I am finding different interests and the curiosity to explore them is in front of me.
But the reality is,…

My Imaginary Date With Zac Efron
My husband and I are always joking back and forth about our “celebrity crushes”. When we are choosing a movie, he will say “And oooooh, it has your boy Zac Efron in it. We are definitely going to have to watch that one, huh?”
My answer? “Well, duh.” I’ve decided that if my husband ever follows through on his threat to make me sit through a Star Trek marathon, then we are having an Efron Marathon too…Hello Charlie St. Cloud!!
(So now, everyone is well aware of my Cougar crush on…

Capture Generations of Stories Before They Are Gone
My 18 year old son Matthew is visiting my 93 year old grandmother this week in Mississippi. Last night I called him to see how things were going. He interrupted me mid-sentence and said “I have to call you back. Banma is telling me old stories.” (Yes, we call our grandmother Banma – it’s got to be a Southern thing to call your grandmother by some silly name, which clearly we do.)
Later he called me back and said “That was so awesome. I just heard all kinds of stories about this…

Uncle Fred & The Dizzy Video
My Uncle Fred had spent his life working on B-52 bombers and various other airplanes during WWII and then worked at Delta Airlines in Atlanta until his retirement in 1970. Many years later, I decided to surprise him with a video showing him how much the airport had changed since he left. I went around Hartsfield International Airport taping tidbits of places that he might recognize.
Days later, I was eager to see his reaction as we watched the video of planes taking off overhead,…

7 Ways to Up Your Conversation Game This Weekend: Small Talk Big Topics

Ahhh Mother’s Day Weekend is here. Such a wonderful holiday. That special morning where children make breakfast for their mothers, or present them with precious homemade gifts, all in hopes of buying themselves some extra leeway during the upcoming summer months at home. :)
Hopefully during the weekend there will be time for you to break away from those wee ones and hang out with other adults. For those moments, we bring you the…

Here kitty, kitty...a trip to the Rocky Mountain Wildlife Park
I have been sick and basically living on my couch this week. I haven't been sick all winter but of course, when it's nice weather, I get a sinus infection that knocks me on my arse for the week. Ugh.
I've been meaning to write about our trip to the Rocky Mountain Wildlife Park in …

HAG and Her Blog
Hi ,
I am recent blogger not with much experience but I was very much interested to work from home and was very confused to try out. But as I started researching about earning from home there are so many opportunities and it is such a vast field that I started blogging, trying to help others interested in working from home to give them ideas and at the same time I myself learn and earn some thing at the side in this internet world.
I have written post regarding Work from…

As I walk down the path called life, God blesses me daily. I don't always appreciate my blessings as often as I should. I ignore all the good things in life or take them for granted. So a couple weeks ago, I decided that I have so much to be thankful for that I needed to take time out of my daily life and count my blessings.
I know it sounds cliche but we need to appreciate all of God's blessings big and small. How would I achieve it? How should I start…

Oregon Trip End
So the next morning after the wedding we had to wake up at 2:30am...leave for the airport at 3:30 and then wait at the airport until our flight at 6:00. We were exhausted and slept through bits of the first flight.
At Salt Lake we made it just in time for our connecting flight and Lincoln slept through the entire flight even though we were in the very back in teh noise part of the plane. Soren and I napped a bit.
All in all we were soooo happy to be home!…

Oregon Trip Day 2
Our second day in Salem was a little less eventful. Lincoln and I stayed home at Soren's uncle and aunt's house and all the kids/cousins played together. Soren and David went to help set up for the reception at the church. Ella and I visited with Soren's sweet Aunt Beth. It was pretty relaxing. The kids played inside and then outside on the trampoline (which Lincoln LOVED) and then on the swings!
