A Mom Blog Social Network
Good morning all, I found this on Pinterest and thought it was very true. I am aiming for a productive week, and it is the last week of the school holidays. I am hoping to do some sewing and some organising here. What about you? How are the holidays going for you? I am going to believe in the saying below and see how it goes.…Continue

Okay, I'm guilty. I’ve done it many times. I’m sure you have, too… at least once. Now I’ve come to believe it’s just plain rude.
I’m talking about taking cell phone photos of your food in restaurants.Continue

Well, Pinterest has inspired me once again. For the past month, I have been making Dr. Oz's metabolism-boosting drink.
I discovered this recipe on Pinterest and have been making it non-stop. Now, I can't…Continue

I saw a post in Pinterest listing 101 things every girl should know and I though I would share my favorites from that list!
101. “Always keep your summer makeup minimal. Minimal and sheer makeup is the way to go when it’s hot and muggy outside.” – Mary Greenwell, celebrity makeup artist
100. “The best thing to do when you go to a makeup counter is be armed with what it is you want to do.”- Raychel Wade, founder of Cheek to Chic and La Prairie’s colour ambassador

Here is a BRILLIANT idea - when wearing a sweater over a button up, wear a tank top IN BETWEEN the two in order to get rid of the wrinkles and buttons. You will be left with a nice smooth look. Who woulda…Continue

I love making crafts - knitting, scrapbooking or making cards, collages or photos, you name it and I'm game to try making it. Like any crafty mom, I’ve spent the past few weeks scouring the web for super cute and easy Valentine’s Day ideas and pinning them to my “Craft Ideas” Pinterest board. My hope was to make some fun handmade Valentine craft/card with my kindergartener son to give out his class.

Today I am going through my Pinterest files trying to select a few new recipes for the 30 Days of Pinterest Project Series and I realize this is going to be harder than I thought. Every recipe I have pinned is something that I myself would love to try. My husband and kids are another story, but the…Continue

Ok, I am in LOVE with Pinterest! I mean, who isn’t, right? I found this fall hurricane candle and I just had to try it. It seemed so simple, and it was. You only need 6 items and they are so cheap! I got everything at Walmart (except for the corn), however, I used a smaller hurricane than pictured because I wanted…Continue

Sharpie art is all over Pinterest. The craft itself is super simple. Find a plain white ceramic item, draw a design on it using a Sharpie, and then throw it in your oven to bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Sounds easy enough, right?
So I decided that I had to try out some Sharpie art for myself. My sister-in-law’s birthday is this month, so I thought that…Continue

I am a recovering Pinterest addict. When I first joined the site, I went on pinning rampages (winter in Utah w/ a 6 month old-- what else was I to do?). I ended up with over 3000 pins within a few months, which is maybe, kind-of, I concede, a little excessive. Now I have cut back to 20-30 pins and max 30 minutes a week, I swear, husband. But one of those lovely time-wasting afternoons was spend on Isla's first birthday party. It has to be big! It has to be cute! It has to be…Continue
