A Mom Blog Social Network
People often ask me what it is like to be mum to 7 children and I generally answer that it's not as hectic as you'd think, quite calm really, you just have to be organised. I look at my schedule today and think that last statement has never been so true.…

First, let's discuss my guns.
I've worked for weeks on these wings and they are finally getting where I want them. Perfect timing since I have a trip to Savannah next weekend and maxi dresses are in my future.
I posted this pic last…

As a mom, I can’t give you a perfect answer because each child is different and is ready to move into a regular bed at different ages. You know your child best and can gauge when you…Continue

I follow those whom I admire on Twitter, and Anne Graham Lotz is one such individual. Yes, she is the reverend's daughter, but an impressive Bible teacher apart from her famous father. (www.angelministries.org)
Recently she tweeted a blog on Thanks-living. It struck a chord with me. It challenged me, dared me, compelled me to operate out of gratitude every day. I am finding that when I let gratitude be my guide, I cannot…Continue

Last night one of my girls went to bed with no nappy. This child is the one that is only using the night nappy as a safety blanket and never uses it anymore. I made sure the mattress protectors were on both beds and asked her if she would like to try again with no nappy for bed time. The answer was YES!
Daddy and Mummy explained that if she had an accident that was fine and…Continue

I recently found Kelly Rae Roberts amazing blog. She's an artist, and is so talented, but what I loved most about her blog was how transparent she is. Really. She shares her story of success as an artist -- step by step -- right down to the tools and supplies she likes to use. It is like a big huge present, waiting to be unwrapped by all aspiring artists (like me). She's honest yet positive and makes you want to pull those red cowboy boots…Continue

From the Crazy Nuts Mom blog
It takes food from restaurants, grocery stores and produce farms that is on its way to the trash to make it into meals for a crowd of people.

Have you ever had a big project you needed to do but you were completely overwhelmed and didn’t know where to start? The solution to that problem is simple – break the project down into smaller steps. Here are a couple of examples from my life.
I have two quilt projects going right now. I was feeling overwhelmed so I made a couple
of charts for my planner that broke each quilt project down into manageable steps.…

“Oh, I’m so stupid!” she said. Marcie tried to dial in to the Soul Tribe Coaching Call for the first time two weeks ago. She dialed the number and couldn’t get in. When she was finally able to connect to the call she realized that she had said, “Oh, I’m so stupid,” at least 20 times before she got…Continue

Having four kids makes me part of a special club. For example the other night, at my kids' elementary school, I met some other moms. We instantly started asking the how many kids do you have question. The mom across from me said the magic number, four. Instant connection and we forgot the…
