I am not going to pretend you remember me.
I am not going to pretend that you should remember me.
It's been a while.
A long while.
And I kept saying "I'm back!"
I wasn't back.
And I have no excuse.
I was kind of all set with blogging for a while.
Don't get me wrong, there was plenty to write about.
I'd be out and about watching some sort of ridiculousness going on, thinking the…

You know how it is....work, house cleaning, different commitments, babysitting.....holidays, etc. Then I have to go on FB....if nothing else to see whose birthday it is today....and then there is my jewelry online shop......

My eleven year old middle school daughter and I were having a conversation the other day about games and one game in particular became the topic of discussion. A party game we all know as Truth or Dare.
My daughter: Um, I've also played this game called Truth or Dare.
Me: Uh huh. Where, why and with whom?
My daughter: Just with friends, you know, sleepovers Mom.
Me: Uh huh. Oh…Continue

The Opportunity to Get More Traffic to your Blog is humming along nicely. I have met some great bloggers and I'm getting to know about some fun new blogs. I shared the first blog of many, The Top 10 Anything and Everything at http://theverybesttop10.com/ and have heard from so many bloggers that checked out this blog and enjoyed it. I also heard from the author of the blog Russell Deasley who said it was like a magic…Continue

I wake up the next day, and before I’m out of bed, BOOM it hits me just like that. Everything in my mind has changed. This isn’t just a good thing, it’s a great thing. It is a blessing. I want kids. So maybe it didn’t happen the way that I thought it would. It definitely didn’t happen the way I envisioned, but that doesn’t mean it’s anything but great. I say it again to myself It is a blessing!
My brother’s statement from last night plays again in my head, “If you think of it…Continue

I know what you’re all thinking: I’m probably about to alienate myself from the world of Mom Bloggers forever. I’m probably about to say something super bitchy, or downright rude. I’m likely about to become a total hypocrite, since I – myself – am a Mom Blogger. This would be…Continue

Hi Bloggy Moms,
I haven't po sted in a few days and decided to not fall into a blogging rut, and so I broke the stall and came here first. That's one thing I've learned over the past year while writing online--to not worry about not having updated in a while. First of all, readers,…Continue

I totally forgot about Friday Funnies. I don't even know how because my computer is jam packed full of funny shit I see and have to save. So I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend! It's our last soccer game tomorrow and the boys are devastated. Or psyched. It's hard to tell because they can't wait to get there, and once we're there, they cry and don't want to play. Then they cry when the game is over because they didn't get to play. Then when we finally force them to play, they beam…Continue

So I voted.
I did my civic duty.
Exercised my right.
Which is the only exercising I have done all week. It was exhausting, so I'm counting it. Walking from the car, maneuvering out of the way of all the cottonheads, making sure the boys aren't sitting at the feet of the person next to me .... phew ... I need to lay down.
And while I was looking over my ballot, voting for the lesser of a few evils, I…
We just came out of Hurricane Sandy here on the East Coast. We had some nasty winds and lots of rain but our family came out of it very lucky and quite unscathed. I can't even begin to imagine what those poor people in NY and NJ are going through right now. The photos are almost unbelievable.…Continue

One of my kids' favorite nuts is the pistachio. This is probably because they are so much fun. Usually they hear "do not play with your food, don't eat with your fingers," I could go on and on. They are also great for me because I can throw a handful to each of them and while they entertain themselves shelling shelling…Continue

My children love to paint. I however am not the biggest fan of it. My little Micheal Angelos have a spray of 9 feet high (the height of our ceilings so may be even higher if given opportunity) as well as a radius of about 6 feet each. So, when we do paint I try and make it count. We paint everything we have created from the previous few weeks; sculptures, papers, and wood creations. Also, we always do an …
