Summer Day Camp Essentials 2013

With the school year rapidly coming to an end (18 days and counting), our house is full excitement for the summer. As a family, we look forward to all the fun things we get to go during the warm weather – trips to the zoo, local amusement parks and our annual week at the Jersey Shore. ...When I got the CD in the mail I was super excited (I love kids music, don't judge lol)! I immediately put it in and loved it. Jaliyah loves listening to music and The Rattles definitely caught her attention; we danced together and now we have "music time" every day after her afternoon nap! I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed it as well, it's hard to find music that's equally enjoyable for adults and children.

I know this is a touchy subject and everyone has their opinions, but

"crying it out" seems to be my only option now. Jaliyah is a little over

Guess what I got to do today?

Just guess..

TAKE A REAL SHOWER! I know, I know - you are jealous, and you should be - nanananana! It was a REAL shower, not a jump-in-speed-racer-3.5-minute-cut-yourself-shaving shower. I got to relaxxxxxx for a whole 15 minutes. I even got to do my version of a mommy-no-time pedicure. Whew, how exciting.

Elisha's Essentials

One of the things that is almost near impossible to avoid when having a baby - diaper rash! How NOT fun..Jaliyah did not get her first diaper rash until a little after 2 months. I used just a regular, popular brand of cream which seemed to work pretty well and the rash was gone within a week. The diaper rash returned a few weeks later and at her DR appt, he prescribed her a prescription strength cream. That was recently, and I have been using this cream for about 7 days-ish.
