The GF It-List
For the most part I have stayed Gluten Free since my fast in January. I've tried a few GF products and have compiled a list of my favorites (and two to stay away from!).
Fruits and veggies are the biggest part of my diet though. I'm still trying to find different recipes that work for me that are healthy but aren't time consuming to make. As a toddler mom, I need to use every minute…

Gluten-Free Giveaway
May is Celiac Awareness month. In honor of Celiac Awareness month, we would like to share a resource created by our friend, Debbie Simpson. Debbie has created a children’s book to help others understand the emotional and psychological impact of being left out and of how a little preparation can include everyone – which is especially important in the classroom.

Conscious Box 3-month Subscription GIVEAWAY!
I am SO SO excited about this giveaway I can offer you. This company is fantastic and I cannot say enough good things about it. You know how I have talked about the clever marketing of companies with labeling their products “all natural” “made with real fruit” “organic ingredients”? It is so hard to take the time to read the labels, get past the marketing and truly find products that are good for you.…

Roller Coaster Symptoms and Emotions.
Day Twenty Two.
I feel like I am on one big roller coaster that is never ending. It is exhausting both physically and emotionally. Just a couple days ago I was on top of a mountain with joy over my sons poop being “normal” and today I am in a deep valley with worry and fear because his symptoms are bad again.
Have you ever been there as a mom or dad or even just a friend or relative? You know, the over analyzing every teeny tiny detail and fact…

Gluten, Gluten Stay Away!
I had a meeting that provided childcare and snacks were going to be served. I knew the snacks would not be gluten free and certainly not non GM. I brought snacks for both kids and made sure I informed the workers that my children were not to eat any gluten. For sake of not being rude, the story ends…

A few days into it I was starving. Not hating life…

Halloween lotion bars
Any parent knows how crazy the bath time/ bed time routine can be and if you have more than one you are looking at huge redundancy in tasks like teeth brushing, shampooing, flossing, etc.. With homemade lotion bars you can cross one of those tasks off your list. Each child gets their own bar and while I wrap up Babe in a towel and give him a…

Chocolate Peanut Butter Bats
Halloween is around the corner, all the stores are full of pumpkins, skeletons, witches, and bats which is what gave me the inspiration to make these chocolate bats. My daughter's birthday was last week and she wanted something with a Halloween theme for her birthday dinner. These simple peanut butter filled chocolate bats fit the request…
