The sun rested upon my shoulders infusing warmth into my winter sodden soul. I stood with my feet planted in 3 inches of snow that my son had been anticipating every morning that we woke up for “cereal time”. 

I watched as his excited little legs carried him swiftly out the back door and clumsily across the winter landscape. 

His laughter animated the air.

And these smiles filled my heart with so much love.…

My senses were awakened by the bright sun as it peaked through the slats of my bedroom blinds. It was nature's subtle motivational push to get me moving along with the rest of the lively world.
