A Mom Blog Social Network
Just like my reading choices I like to keep my TV viewing pretty light hearted. For the most part I stay away from gritty dramas and cop shows. My only exceptions to that rule are House (I can’t lie, I cried when it was over) and The Cowboy and my new…Continue

Freshly Picked is a self made company, made by a mom who only wanted quality shoes for her babies to wear. So many soft soled shoes don't stay on, that's where the change came. A company forged out of sweat and love for not just this mom's little ones, but for yours as well!
When I first learned about these adorable moccasins, I was shocked and slightly jealous they are so adorable! I still wish…

I do not drink a lot of coffee, but when I do it has to be flavored and have about 1/4 cup of sugar and flavored creamer in it. If it tastes like coffee, I don't want it. Everyone I work with thinks that I'm weird because I don't "need" a cup of Joe before I can function in the morning.
A couple of months ago I got a coupon from one of the websites listed here, for a free full size bottle of Oregon Café Vanilla Latte. Since it was free, I kept the coupon in my purse "just in case."…Continue

I finally got around to trying the Adovia Purifying Mud Mask, with Pure Dead Sea Mud, Aloe Vera and Vitamin C. I haven't used a face mask product since I was a pre teen copying my mom one day. I was excited, especially because it has Pure Dead Sea Mud, which is known to provide great results.
This product is for all skin types, so I wasn't really…

I was given the opportunity to review "Heros of the City" Kit. I was very excited because I currently have three boys in the daycare program who love anything with wheels! (What 3 year old boy doesn't though?) The kit contained a DVD (which has 5 short movies on it), a book called "The Hot Air Balloon", a sticker book (with TONS of stickers) and a small (matchbox size) firetruck and train. The firetruck and train are characters in the movie, and book.…Continue

I just saw the lego movie with my kids over the holiday weekend. I really enjoyed it, and my kids 8 and 10 enjoyed it also.
It has a good message - using your imagination and creating things is a good thing.
As a Mom I actually found it enjoyable to watch also. I really like how they stayed true to the lego parts —even the water from the shower was little lego circles, it was quite clever and magical. And while being a great movie for kids, they made the movie with the idea…Continue
