One of the things that is almost near impossible to avoid when having a baby - diaper rash! How NOT fun..Jaliyah did not get her first diaper rash until a little after 2 months. I used just a regular, popular brand of cream which seemed to work pretty well and the rash was gone within a week. Spidey Sense!

Jaliyah and I fell asleep on the couch last night and she woke up at

like 4 o'clock in the morning to eat. So..I go into the kitchen and let

me tell you, I have this weird spidey sense when it comes to spiders and

creepy crawly things, so anyways..I walk into the kitchen and my spidey

sense went off! I look down and suuuure enough there's a BIG earwig

I don't wanna grow up..I'm a Toys'R'Us kid!

Sometimes when I look at Liyah, I realize she IS going to grow up - as

sad as that may be :( I wonder what she is going to strive to be, what

she is going to wish on all the stars for. When I was younger my biggest

BIGGEST dream of all was to get married and have a family. I knew I

wanted to be like my mom and be a stay at home mom. I may have done

Day 5 and Update :)

As I sit here writing this, Jaliyah is in her jumper having a BLAST! She is going nuts, talking, yelling and smacking things. I tried her out in the jumper yesterday for the first time because she was just getting so bored with the other toys she has.
