So my kid needs a real estate attorney

Whitney starts kindergarten next week, and in preparation for the big day the kindergartners practiced riding the bus, with a parent, to and from school. Most evenings, Ben and I try to squeeze in a little chunk of time together before preparing dinner. Although, referring to it as a ‘chunk’ of time might be overreaching. Chip, fragment, speck of dust floating in the far reaching, outer corners of the universe amount of time is probably more accurate.

I live in a house with a flag pole in the front yard. Yes, people, we’re living the dream...

Yesterday’s wildlife sighting tally: three deer, four wild turkeys and two, TWO owls! I grew up in these here parts, and I never remember seeing more than a field of cows back in my day. Of course those cows are long gone. Their grazing pastures replaced with partially completed subdivisions [fuck yeah, real estate market!], and I presume those cows have moved on to other meals...like my girls’ McDonald’s Happy Meals.…

I don't even know what I'm talking about

Lexi’s been looking for the perfect pair of sunglasses since the snow melted off our deck back in May. Do you need a romantic weekend away? THEN DON'T...

We’re back...less a couple layers of skin off our butts, but we're back!
