Dear Readers, I have heard about this thing called "Scentsy"...I was wondering what it was and then I discovered that a friend sells the stuff. Well, I thought "Score! Now, I can find out what Scentsy is!"
So, I arranged for a private preview! And now, I am in love!
Scentsy is a system of wickless candle warmers and great scent "bars" that you melt in the warmers. I love that the wax only gets about body temperature (making it totally safe for…

ggg I have been using MAM products for the past three years and I love
them! I received a whole box of goodies from MAM today! From
bottles to pacifiers and so much more! (With DD all I used was the
pacifiers, I had no idea about all the other stuff)!

What a creative and practical solution to an all too common problem! I was so thrilled with this product, the day my DS (dear son) was born, I made my husband go out and buy me some. (After all, in the operating room, when he came out, DS peed on the doctor and nurses. My husband, ever quick-witted said "Maybe he'll be a…

Looking for a relatively cheap way to clothe your kids? (who am I kidding, in this economy, everyone is!) My children grow like weeds! So, I was looking for an inexpensive way to buy clothes, besides Target, Walmart and kids sales. One day, I came across ThredUp.com. What a great idea! The idea is that for a small fee ($5.00) plus shipping (always $10.95) you can get a box of gently used kids clothes.
Here is how it works:
Look for your kids- by size, gender or…

Dear Readers, I was looking through DD (dear daughter's) hair accessories, trying to find the most perfect thing for her to wear to her birthday party. She has hair ties, headbands and barrettes, but nothing that stood out! I was getting rather flustered by this point...
So, later on that evening, I headed to the computer (where else, Dear Readers?). I found the most perfect things! Hair bows by That's BOWdacious! They are the prettiest bows around! I ordered a few, a…

After my so called kinda-sorta conversion to a more "green" lifestyle, I went looking for more green products. (Once again, Dear Readers, the computer is your friend)!
I went on http://www.etsy.com/ and I found some play dough. Have you ever found yourself wondering what "Play Doh" is made of? Well, I researched that on Hasbro. It is a combination of flour, salt and water. Did you know that if you have a gluten allergy, you…

Nor was it the worst. I spent over an hour today putting my 3 year old in timeout...(the whole time wondering "what did I do wrong? How do I fix this? And why does no one else's kids act this way"?) Even though I know that there are many kids out there just like mine, throwing a fit....In that moment, I was overanalytical and VERY frustrated. I spent money I didn't really have, "robbing peter to pay paul" so to speak.
But, I also spent some quality time with my little boy, at…

The difference between an adventure and an ordeal is additude- Unknown
My life has certainly been an adventure! I have gotten to know so many unique and interesting people. It hasn't always been fun, but, I can't say it's been dull!
Take for example, my 13th birthday. The night before, I spent the night at my friend, Susan's (she was an actress on a realatively popular 1970's show). My friend A. and I spent the night…

Funny, how a song can take you back...I was listening to "Don't laugh at me" by Mark Wills ( I think). It brought up a lot of memories. My eyes filled up with tears as I thought of all those kids I knew and myself, who wished that we could have said "Don't laugh at me". Most of the time, when the subject of bullying comes up in school, a few memories pop up....
When I was in sixth grade, there was a young man who would take a drink from the water fountain and spit in my face.…
