I though tthat was my cherubic child pictured on the billboard next to that fine, strapping Marine in dress blues.  It took me a while to positively identify my Jeffrey as the little boy looking so graciously at his patriotic friend.  I had to pause and wonder, “What the hell is he doing on a “Toys for Tots” billboard?   Not that everyone wouldn’t like to see a few more digits on the ol’ pay stub, but Jeff and I are doing well enough.  I don’t know that I’d classify us as “needy”…

The Captain told me, before I returned to work, that I needed to be completely together and organized, getting things done in efficient,rapid fire like she does. Let me begin by stating that my stance on the whole breastfeeding versus formula feeding debate is quite simply--To each her own.   I just believe that it’s a personal choice, and the common denominator of both options is that you love your baby enough to remember to feed them.  Momstrust me, feeding your baby is a biggie in the eyes of child protective services.  I’d also feel torn advocating one way or the other as I self-identify as healthy, well-adjusted, formula raised breast…
